Horizontal merchandising.

This style is best suited to wall fixtures. Products are hung or shelved in horizontal rows.
Each self or row can be arranged by color or by same style of product. This style of presentation is more functional and easy to replenish.

Vertical merchandising.

As the same as horizontal merchandising, this type uses lines of products. But with this it runs from top to bottom of the wall.
this method is good  to show the different product options, as with the horizontal method it is easy to replenishment

Product blocking.

This style is best used for volume merchandising, usely a fixture or wall is stocked with just one product. Product  blocking shows authority and creates an impact.
the use of this style is logical for the customer as it shows color and size clearly

Symmetrical merchandising.

Presenting the product to create a mirrored effect. this method is only suited to wall fixtures.
the products are presented in the same way on each side, with either an imaginary line vertically down the center. or mirror merchandising it on either side of a wall graphic, mannequin group, or a run of shelves.
This method requires more wall space then in other methods because and a good surplus of stock so that it can be duplicated.

How ever you can use a mixture of long sleeve tops, short sleeve tops, trousers and skirts to create the effect.

Anatomical merchandising.

This is only suited for fashion items. The idea is to hang the garments on top of each other in the same way they are to be warn. This defines the look and can be used for mixed product types.
It also encourages people to perchance the whole outfit, much like a mannequin.

Coordinated merchandising.

Fashion and home-wear category groups benefit from this technique. Collections or theme are grouped together to create a cohesive look. Such as, a suit jacket could be hang with a shirt, tie and shoes. for a home department, a sofa could be displayed with cushions, rugs and throws,
These looks are to give the customer inspiration and educate them on how to put the products together

Color blocking.

using the color of the products to create a visual impact is the simplest and the most fundamental way to create a statement, from t-shirts, towels, tins of paint and crockery, each product can create a functional yet bold display. This style can be aplyed to both wall and floor fixtures.
