During my five years with the company worked at one main store and was asked to assist on projects at stores in my region. by doing this I was able to build on many skills, from management, visual merchandising, stock control and staff training.

  • Deciding the placement of mannequins and dressing then appropriately to the VM guide lines.

                           Refit of Region Flagship Store.
In 2008 the regional flag ship store under went a major refit. Involving the complete replacement of floor fixtures, wall fittings, ceiling and floors. During this time staff form stores in the region were brought in to help with the transition of this refit.

                           Implementation of Model Store for Christmas shop.
Christmas shop 2007, set up by staff from other stores in the region, each store set two members of staff to work on the set up. This enabled the staff to go back to their store with a solid idea of how to set up the department. As well as for the company to see the best way for the department to be set, and then for the information to be passed on to the rest of the company.

Assistant Stage Manager.

2005
Technical Stage Crew Cover.
Covering holidays and sick days for crew two west end shows, for stage LX. follow spot and lighting board operator.

  • Running cables on and of stage,
  • Operating the dry ice machines.
  • Assisting in scene changes.
  • Operating the follow spot.
  • operating the lighting desk during the show.
  • Checking that all the lighting was working before the show.
  • Replacing lights and gels if needed.

2000-2005
Technical Stage Crew.
  • Putting up the sets for touring shows, and taking them down at the end of the run.
  • Dressing the stage for small shows. mainly one night concerts and bands
  • Operating the follow spot during major tours, as well as smaller shows.
  • Setting up the in house lighting rig.
  • Setting up and operating the sound and lighting desks during the seasonal Jazz Bar.
  • Assisting the wardrobe department, unpacking costumes at the start of the run and packing the up at the end.
  • Maintenance of the stage lighting, replacing bulbs and wires and plugs, and well as the maintenance of four follow spot lights.
